The cruise rundown

For those of you that didn't know, we went on a cruise this past week for vacation. We had a wonderful time and are sad that it is over. I want to share with everyone how good of a time we had. I'm going to give you guys a rundown of our days.
Day One
We left last Saturday and boarded the Enchantment of the Seas around 1pm. That afternoon we took time exploring the enormous ship and waiting for our luggage to get to our room. Around 3 our luggage arrived in our stateroom so we changed & headed up to the pool for a few hours to relax. Our dinner was at 6 and we were excited to finally meet our dinner friends. We sat with 4 other people every night for dinner. Mikel & Robin were celebrating their 25th anniversary and from Indianapolis. Karina and Vanessa were also celebrating their graduation for nursing school. All 4 were so nice and it was fun getting to know them.
Day Two
Our second day on the boat was a day at sea. We spent the entire day by the pool. They had a few competitions like a hula hoop contest and a Mr Enchantment contest. They were both fun. That night for dinner was formal night so we dressed up and heading to dinner. After dinner we went to a ship "broadway" show called "From Stage to Screen". The boat's singers & dancers performed numbers that were on broadway & then made into movies. It was very good.
Day Three
Third day we were in Grand Cayman. We had signed up for an excursion but before we walked around Grand Cayman a little and went into a few shops. It was a pretty little place. For our excursion we selected snorkeling. We first snorkeled at some boat wreckage and then we went to Hamburger reef. It was the first time I had snorkeled & it was great. I'm not the best swimmer but with the assistance of a flotation device and fins, I was all set. The water was so indescribably beautiful. Amazing colors like I've never seen. Back on the boat for dinner and then we headed to a comedy show. The comic's name was Troy Thurgill (spelling??) and he was so incredibly funny. Adam and I laughed so hard the entire time.

Day Four
Fourth day we docked in Cozumel. We had decided not to do an excursion in Cozumel but took a taxi into downtown to explore on our own. We walked around for 3 to 4 hours. We went into a lot of shops, Adam enjoyed a $1.50 Corona and we were serenaded by a little band. It was extremely hot but a very fun and neat experience. Again, back on the boat for dinner and off to another "broadway" style show. After the show we stayed for a fun game show called "Love & marriage". It is similar to the Newlywed show. It was really funny.

Day Five
The fifth day was another day at sea. Again we decided to use this time to relax and spend the day by the pool. We actually ended up sitting next to one of the couple for the "love and marriage" game show named Brian and Lisa. They were really nice and I'm glad we got to meet them. The final night after dinner, there was a farewell show where 2 time Olympic champion Lance T did some neat acrobatic stuff and then the singers/dancers did a few numbers.
Our final night on deck
Day Six
The final morning we had to be off the boat sooner rather than later to catch a flight at 10:30. We made it off by 8:30. After a short flight and marta ride we were home by 4. It is good to be home and glad we were able to have this experience. I can't wait to do it again.
Now it's back to reality.
