Fabulous Friday

I know yesterday was going to be a good day to start off because I was going to visit my BFF Amy & her new baby Allie. This was the first time I saw Allie - she is a little over 2 months now. What an adorable baby? She wasn't having the greatest of days - possibly not feeling well but cute nonetheless. Amy looked great and motherhood definitely suits her. I hope I take to it as well as she has. I was able to visit with them for most of the afternoon and it was great. Amy is that "person" for me - she is my dearest friend who I know I can be myself with all the time. There is never any pressure to impress and I can talk openly to her about anything. I just love being with her no matter what we are doing. Most of the time we do get together (which is not often enough) we just talk. I love it! That's what we did yesterday - it was great.

To start the day off though, I woke up and laid in bed a few minutes before getting up and all of a sudden I feel a little "kick" in my stomach. Seriously, it was a kick. This little kick was followed by 2 or 3 more. I know it was her! She is finally showing me what she is made of. This was the first time I have felt her move. It was quite the feeling. Everyone said it would feel like butterflies or a flutter....not for me. It was a little kick. I loved it.
