I am still stunned that 2008 is almost over. There has been so much that has happened in my life this past year & in just the world in general. Here are some that I don't think I'll ever forget....
* Finding out I was pregnant (best day of my life) - after over a year of trying I can remember every detail of that day. Makes me giggle just thinking about it. Now I'm 7 months in and it is still hard to grasp that in 3 months our little girl will be with us. Picture of me at my first ultrasound.
* Adam finding a new job. With the economy in the state that it is in many people are losing jobs and we were very afraid that Adam might be one of them with his old company. Being in logistics and dealing a lot with the shipment of building products we weren't sure what was going to happen. In Sept he was offered a job at UPS supply chain. In Oct he started his new job and is loving the challenge of learning new things and the comfort of the stability it offers.
* We elected the 44th President of the United States - Mr. Barack Obama. He is the first African American president in United States history. After a long and heated campaign with his challenger John McCain, Obama was elected President this past November.
* The Summer Olympics were amazing. Michael Phelps entertained and amazed the world by winning 8 gold medals in swimming. He beat out Mark Spitz's record of the most gold medals ever. What an amazing athlete?
There are only a few days left of 2008 so make the most of them. May you have a wonderful & blessed 2009.
