7 month checkup

I went Wednesday for my 7 month checkup and everything was great. I have gained 12 lbs so far and am really starting to feel "pregnant". Baby girl's heartbeat was great and I passed my glucose test. My iron was a little low but not enough to take a supplement just yet. I'm going to try to make up for my iron shortage with certain foods.

More great news this week - our furniture & swing came in. Yeah! I finally have some relief that things are coming together. I still have this overwhelming feeling that there is still a lot to do and unexpected things are awaiting me. I've come to the realization that there are going to be a lot of unknowns and Christ's will give me guidance and peace to handle whatever comes my (our) way. I am certain of that fact and that being a mother is going to be the greatest gift ever.

I still think you should consider some beef! :) You and the baby really need it these last 2 months! At least you love cereal - there are some great ones out there with a lot of iron! Don't forget beans and those green veggies!

12, huh?!!! Isn't it time to start gaining a pound a week?! Look, most of us out there gained 40, haha, so bear with us, as we can't comprehend otherwise! :)

Unexpected things ARE everywhere, and you will be just fine! Keep your chin up, rub that belly, and ENJOY these last weeks of your pregnancy... enjoy every kick and every sweet moment that you have to yourself. Motherhood is going to blow your mind! :)

Love you!
