4 Month Checkup
Elleri had her 4 month checkup yesterday and it went well. She is progressing along perfectly. She weighed in at 14 lbs 4 ounces and is now over 23" long. We had her 4 month vaccines which I hate to watch. Elleri was a trooper though. I can't explain how perfect she is - she is doing everything right on schedule. I am so proud. Dr. Harbaugh gave me the option to start solids but I might wait another few weeks. He said not to rush it if I didn't want to. There is no reason if she isn't hungry after eating formula and she isn't. I'm trying to research how to make my own baby food. We'll see....

Hey, girl, my sister makes her own baby food and LOVES it! She got the machine from Williams-Sonoma. A big investment but well worth it. I would be happy to get you in touch with her if you'd like more info! My niece is 8 months old and eats like a champ!!! So glad Elleri is growing so perfectly! She's something precious!!!
that would be great bethany. i'll take any tips i can get.
I made most of Whit's baby food. There was no recipe involved just a food processor and whatever I wanted to feed him!! I froze it in little ice trays and made enough for about a week at a time. I never got brave enough to try freezing fruit. I would just smash up what I had and give Kennedy the rest of what he didn't eat. It was super easy!! And he is my best eater...I think it might have been because I could give him a better variety cooking my own food. Good luck!
