Gym Chaos

Let me start by saying that I am all for people trying to live healthy lifestyles by watching what they eat and having a good exercise regiment. What I do get frustrated with is the "New Year's Resolution" crowd that hits the gyms from January 1 until about March. I have never understand why someone would want to pay an enrollment fee and have monthly payments when they don't continue to go longer than 2 months. I don't know about you but that is a huge waste of money for me that I could be using toward something else. If you are choosing to change your habits via diet and exercise, why not start small? See if its for you before jumping into a plan or commitment with a gym. Start by walking in your neighborhood or doing some sort of video at home. If you are at the gym and are truly making a commitment to this change in your life then kudos to you - go break a sweat. I'm all for you and I'm on your side but if you are on the treadmill barely moving while I'm having to wait in line for one to become free then we have an issue. I know it is only for a few months but I just had to vent and get it off my chest. It happens every year, I know, I know!
