"To keep your marriage brimming, with love in the loving cup;
whenever you’re wrong, admit it; whenever you’re right, shut up."
Ogden Nash
Let me just start by saying that I do that it takes more than just shutting up to keep the marriage "brimming". Marriage is hard work but it very much worth all the effort. I agree with Ogden though when it comes to the fact that it isn't always about being right. Sometimes it is ok to let things go and let the one you love just have their time. It is also important to admit when you are wrong. Trust me - there are going to plenty of times during any relationship that you will be wrong. Probably more wrong times than right ones. You might as well get use to fessing up failures. If you are in a genuine, loving & Godly relationship it is much easier to admit failures and you love the person that God provided for you enough to just shut up.
