Things never go as we plan. I am quite the little planner - I actually get a little "OCD" when it comes to organization and having plans. I like efficiencies - what the matter with that?
It is very hard to plan for the future. My husband and I have recently started to try having a baby. I often hear that you can never plan for that. I think you can in some ways but others I totally understand what they mean. Every child is different & has different needs. We can't plan for that. We can try to save as much money as possible but we never know what "emergency" is around the corner that might take a huge chunk of our savings. We do what we can and trust that God will take care of us. He always has and always will!

Congrats, Melissa - I can't wait to see that you are expecting!! This is such an exciting time, and you are right, although you can never plan for them, it all just seems to work itself out.... I am thrilled for you guys, what a big and WONDERFUL step....
