Today was my first day with Elleri alone. Adam had to return to work but we are very thankful for the time he was given off by his job. It was more time than we expected & we loved the time together.
The weather was perfect. The day started off a little chilly but warmed up to close to 65 degrees. Elleri and I slept in after a little bit of a restless night. I wish Adam could have gotten more sleep but someone's got to pay the bills right? After a late breakfast for us both & a shower, we went for a walk. It was fabulous. I hadn't been out in days and I needed the fresh air more than I even thought I did.
We are back from our walk & Elleri is taking an afternoon nap. Not going to let her snooze too long so that maybe she'll sleep better tonight. Overall, our first day together alone has been great.
