5 Weeks Old & A Trip to Waycross

I just returned home from a short visit with Gma & Gpa Clark. This was Elleri's first road trip & mine alone with her. She did really well sleeping most of the way. There was an occasional outburst of tears signaling she needed to eat or have a diaper change. While we were in Waycross she got to meet her two great grandmothers. It was quite neat being part of 4 generations. My grandma Clark has dementia so I hope that she remembers Elleri as long as she can and that Elleri will grow old enough to remember her. My sister Wendy & neice Payton were also able to visit with us & see Elleri for the first time. Payton was in awe of her & wanted to hold her the whole time. She is 8 and was so sweet to her. The only downfall of our trip was that neither of us slept very well being away from home so today we are both a little on the ill side. I plan to sleep better tonight in my own bed and some help from daddy.
